We’ve always done a flat rate ️ “can you babysit 3 nights 4 days xyz is our flat rate per day.” The hourly+flat rate overnight would work too. Prob depends on skill level-career nanny vs college girl

How to discipline in public?My therapist told me an immediate consequence that makes sense for the behavior and is age appropriate. Apparently time outs are real controversial but they seem to work with us, mainly bc it gives my kids time to breathe and regulate.
Exp: using a toy to hit a sibling. Toy goes away or time out from playing for 3 minutes -

Screen-Free Evenings?Yes! We are certainly not perfect but we have started letting our kids color/journal, read or pick out a game. When they choose a game we all play. Or I’ll play while my husband cleans up dinner or vice versa.
