I wanted to get one at 38 and because my OB wouldn’t say I “needed” one I couldn’t find a place who would do it! I was willing to pay fully out of pocket too and I was told unless an OB said I had concerning spots and had to have one they won’t do them before 40. Which is insane to me. If your OB will work with you to order one that’s the only way before 40 usually. I was so shocked no one would take my money!

Skylight calendar? We have had ours about 6 months and love it! My kids can easily see their chores and know they need to do them before screen time. So I don’t have to remind or prompt them! I use emojis for the kids who can’t read yet. And the calendar is nice for myself and older kids who like to see their activities and don’t need to ask me

How often are you invited?I am in the littler kid busy stage of life as are my friends. But I feel like unless I plan/invite I don’t actually get asked to do much despite it seeming like I have a decent amount of friends. How often do most people get invited to do things? Like we haven’t been invited to someone’s home for dinner in years. Do people still do that? We always have our invitations accepted and everyone has fun. It just never feels reciprocated.

Toddler isn’t babbling- speech therapy help!I am not a ST but I have 2 of my 4 kids that were speech delayed and I would get an eval for sure! Earlier is better. At easiest they need a helping jumpstart and won’t need it long. At harder they have a real delay and then time is of the essence you don’t want to wait. At 2 you should have babble at the least. I know it’s hard to know for sure so an eval will just answer your questions and worry. You’re an amazing Mama or you wouldn’t worry.

Beach Games for Family on Spring BreakWe don’t bring much. The Velcro handheld ball game for catch. Sand toys & a football. We bring card games for the house, a few board games like guess who & memory. I find if you bring just a few things they play in the water more and mine will wave crash for hours.

Ding dong ditching- okay or bygone eraSo my kids go to bed at 7:00 I can see this being frustrating if they have small children. Before 6:30pm I wouldn’t mind but it’s hard to have toddlers woken up.

Milk before bedWe do milk at night but brush teeth after and just do a no milk after brushing rule. It’s really only “bad” for teeth if they fall asleep drinking it.

ADHD but Not Ready to MedicateIf you haven’t already tried OT it helps with the stimuli overload their ADHD brains have. I always appreciate learning tools tailored for my child specifically. I have 2 with ADHD. Good luck Mama you got this!
