I know it depends on the kid but I'm really conflicted. I feel like he's ready but everyone holds their kids back these days, I don't want him to be behind just by default of everyone else's choices.

Has anyone found success being screen-free in the evenings? Like...parents, kids, teens...everybody. We're all face-first in our phones once 5PM hits (guilty too) and missing out on the ONE time of day when we're all together. Tips to get everyone on board?

Hi! I've never tried mushrooms, but I am seeing all the hype about how Moms these days are turning to mushrooms instead of alcohol. Would love to hear others feedback, as well as where do I start? Obviously, need a reliable source where to get them as well as the types. I don't want to hallucinate or anything! Coming from a mama who's never dabbled in them and JUST curious!

Favorite podcasts?? I don’t want anything too heavy that uses a ton of brain power, but also don’t want real housewives numb out level. Something in between. I can learn but not have to focus too much.

What's your starting age for letting kids text? Our 9yo has an older ipad so she could facetime Grandparents and text cousins that live in another state. A few months ago she got a hold of her friends numbers and now they have a texting group of gals. It's innocent and harmless, but I can see it creating a jealousy in my daughter. They create videos (GRWM) and showing their skin care routines, etc. I can see she is struggling that some have nicer things or things she does not have or she didn't get invited to someone's house, etc. We're struggling as we know technology is a part of their future, but we weren't ready for her to be texting with friends yet. Curious to know other thougths! Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure i'm addicted. How do I stop? Everything I buy we use (for the most part) but it is still just stuff we don't NEED. I'm spending way too much for the convenience and I've noticed the quality of items has gone down and I'm terrible with returns. I need to drastically cut back but I also work full time so need the convenience???? Anyone else????

Alright mamas, what’s the deal with party favor bags—do we have to do them? Do your kids expect them? We usually toss ours within 24 hours, but I know the kids are always itching for them at the end of a party. I’ve done PEZ dispensers and lollipop holder characters before, and was thinking character ring pops this time… but my husband swears the kids want the full bag. Any ideas for favors that won’t get tossed? It’s for a 6 y/o boy!

Does anyone else get anxiety with summer and all the camp schedules? I feel like the mental load of the different camps each week, different drop offs and pick up times is so overwhelming. On top of that I work full time so managing my work schedule with all of that just makes me want to skip over summer. It makes me feel sad because I truly used to love summer as a kid and don't want to dread it!
