We are fully vaccinated over here, and this is my reasoning: I’m going to listen to the people who have spent thousands of hours in labs, written / read medical journals, dedicated years studying chemistry and biology and medicine, and are the experts on this one specific thing. Scientists (not referring pediatricians) have dedicated their lives to this and are truly recommending what is best for children (and the human population). Pediatricians are following the recommendations of these experts. If you have concerns or questions, that’s totally valid!! It’s hard as parents making big decisions like this for our kids. But I would recommend scheduling time with your medical provider and talking with them. I’m sure they could provide answers and maybe even options to ease your worries, because you won’t be the first (or last) that brings this up to them.

Pierced Ears HelpGot my oldest’s ears pierced in November 2023. They told us not to put anything on them except spray some saline morning and night. No rubbing alcohol or ointment or anything. Not sure if that might help? I also got her a pair of earrings at Hey Rowan for Christmas and they had a cute selection and they’re high quality earrings. They might have suggestions on what metal to put / not to put in her ears right now. I did make my daughter wait about 9 months before changing them (mine got infected as a kid from changing too early so I did everything opposite for her haha).
