Bring a snack to pick up! Throw them some protein the second they get into the car. They are so tired and melt immediately. My kids are always starving and the transition home goes smoother with a snack!

It really depends what perks are most valuable to you. I have found the Chace sapphire card to be a good balance and the points have worked well for travel.

It is an old show, but my husband and I loves watching White Collar. It is old, and light, and a good unplug.

We just did Kiawah island in SC, and it was a winner! The beach is quiet (honestly reminds me of 30A 15 years ago) it is super safe. We rented a house through The Sanctuary Resort and had access to their kids pool with waterslides, nighttime boat cruises to see dolphins, and a nature center with kids' activities. It was dreamy!
