Boys and when to start school.

Any other moms delay kindergarten for their boys? Wondering if anyone held their sons back a year and what the experience was like long-term (socially, emotionally, and academically). Would love to hear your stories!

We held my oldest back. He is a July birthday and we repeated Kinder. Once at our PreK and then moved him to his “big school” for round 2. He is so much closer in age to his peers now and thriving. Bonus, he’s not even the oldest in his class!
