I recently saw myself in the background of a video and my posture is really terrible!! I was in ballet through high school so it used to be really good, but since having babies (I think especially after nursing for the equivalent of 3 years) it has gotten bad. I also tend to carry a lot of tension and stress in my shoulders and neck which I’m sure doesn’t hurt. I do Pilates about once a week but wondering if any of the posture bras or contraptions are worth it, or if this is going to be just something I have to keep reminding myself of all the time.

I dont think the comtraceptions/posture bras are meant for long term wear.

Honestly what helped me the most was weight training to get my back muscles stronger. If you want to invest a personal trainer or physical therapist can show you specific exercises and ensure the right form to focus on!

My PT told me the same thing, a harness of any sort is just a bandaid and you have to fix the root cause.

        What helped me was:

        1. Strengthen the muscles that help with posture (easily google some examples)
        2. Learn to actually be mindful of your posture

If you sit all day at a desk highly recommend a standing desk too!

Same issue but i'm pretty sure it's a core strength issue (at least in me). My abs get tired and I slouch. It's really annoying tbh
