I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate located in Austin, TX. I have experience working with a variety of clients and presenting problems. I am trained in the psychodynamic orientation, but I utilize attachment theory and Gestalt principles with clients; my passion is helping people integrate their various parts in order to achieve synergy as a whole person. I believe in creating a secure base for clients so they feel safe talking about their experiences, and helping them learn and implement practical skills like mindfulness to use in their everyday lives outside of the therapy room. I believe in a client-centered approach in which the client is the expert on their life and the therapist’s role is empathetic and collaborative.
