  • Weighted Blanket for toddler boy

My 4 year old is really struggling with the bedtime transition. Friends swear by a weighted blanket for kids. How do I use the blanket for the best results at bedtime?

  • When do I move from car seat to booster seat?

Hi! I have a four year old and he has been in the Nuna Rava car seat. He is starting to complain about it being too small. When do you move to a booster seat vs a full car seat.

  • How long is too long for a lingering cold?

My son started daycare for the first time the first week of January. He got sick right away (to be expected) with a cold and cough, no temperature. However, it's been lingering and he still have congestion and a bit of a cough now three weeks later. How long is too long for a cold before I should be concerned? Or is this just daycare right of passage?

  • 5 yr old wakes at night & comes into our bed

My youngest son comes into our bed every night around 3am. We let him sleep with us the rest of the night- I'm too tired to get up and walk him back to bed every night. This has been happening for about a year. He also has a lot of trouble falling asleep without one of us laying with him until he doses off. He has expressed that he really hates sleeping alone. We have 3 boys (11,8 & 5) and they all have their own rooms. Any tips?! Would love for him to not come into our bed!

  • Snack drama

Snacks cause so much drama in our house. We make our kids whole food meals 3x/day obviously but snacks are demanded all throughout the day. We attempt to put limits like morning and afternoon snack only and I feel like all I do is say no. I don’t want to cause weird food issues or scarcity mindset but I’m exhausted. I also want my kids to get the bulk of their calories and nutrients from mealtime. My kids are healthy and active and have no medical issues. What’s the best way for me to approach this? I’m so tired of working my ass off to enforce this snack boundary when maybe it’s ok to let them graze?

  • Cavities filled and oral conscious sedation

We are scheduled to have a cavity filled for our 4 year old next week, and he has a lot of anxiety at the dentist, so they are planning to use oral conscious sedation. I’m nervous for him. I asked if we needed to do this procedure and they assured me we did and showed me the xray of the cavity and how it’s gotten worse over time we are good consistent brushers, but here we are. I’m nervous about how he’ll respond to the medicine, how long he’ll be “out of it” and if it will really help ease his nerves enough for them to do what they need to do. I know a lot of young kids have had this done…have any of you been nervous for your kid? Was it as bad as you made it out to be? Thanks in advance

  • Toddler constipation

Any tips for an almost 3 year old who is chronically constipated?? It’s hindering our potty training journey and I need solutions!!! I also feel bad for her as nothing really works and I don’t want to load her up on miralax all the time.
