My daughter is always finding the jets in the pool and pleasuring herself. She also does this in our jetted tub, which I don’t mind as much because it’s in private. She’ll do it in the pool even when we have guests over at times. She’s 8. I haven’t said anything yet in hopes she’ll get over it, but unsure if that’s the right approach. A friend with son told me he did the same in the pool until his early teens. I don’t want to shame these natural sexual feelings or shut something down for her that’s okay for boys. Should I comment? If so, how?

I grew up going to sleep away camps, but they scare me a little more these days with all the technology, social media and stories these days about counselors/teachers etc doing inappropriate things?! We were quoted $2500 for my 4 year old to get some cavities filled with conscious sedation. (Don’t judge we literally are great brushers). Any way I took his radiographs to two other dentists just to confirm the diagnosis and they both agreed with the proposed plan from the pediatric dentist. So we are 100% going to treat, but I’m now motivated to price shop if that’s even a thing. Willing to drive across the state (we are in ATX). We have FSA funds to cover the $2500 but don’t want to drain that as we have other health expenses too. Any ideas??

Anyone have any ideas for locations to do a 3 year old birthday party in Austin? It’s in early June so will be HOT. It’s also a large group so we don’t want to do it at our house. Any parks that are particularly shaded?

Hi! I can tell my kids are all seeking attention from me. Which honestly is exhausting but I know is important. I'm looking for ideas on how to fill their emotional buckets that are also enjoyable for me. I do not like imaginary play...eeek. Favorite board games, outside games, crafts, date ideas? The flies are OUT of control around our house and in the house...fruit flies are also terrible!! Our garbage is around the side of our house and they are swarming the garbage cans, but they slowly make their way inside. Does anyone have any tips/tricks to get rid of these things???
