I’m looking for a nanny for consistent childcare a few days a week during the day from 8-5 and occasionally babysitting on weekends. I’m having a hard time finding someone who is consistent. Does anyone know of any companies that provide a service that vets/does background checks and provide these services? I feel like at this point going through a company may be easier than hiring individuals.

Looking to upgrade our stroller along with the accessories. I know I'm missing some since my first child was born. What are y'all loving??

The hardest thing as a working mom is attempting to eat healthy, but not having any time to meal prep during the day. The last thing I want to do at 5 pm when i get home is spend all my time cooking a healthy dinner and taking that time away from being present with my kids. Asking what's everyone doing?? Has anyone tried those meal planning services, or chefs in your house, or anyone have any recommendations? I am looking for like 3 meals per week to be cooked and ready to go/be ready to be heated. We are really trying to eat healthy so someone who is health conscious would be a huge plus. Located in South Austin, so anyone in west or central or south would work!

Any tips for an almost 3 year old who is chronically constipated?? It’s hindering our potty training journey and I need solutions!!! I also feel bad for her as nothing really works and I don’t want to load her up on miralax all the time.

Hi! I am flying with my 14 month old next week. He is a very busy bee and doesn’t like to stay seated Any tips on how to make a 2 hour flight go smoothly? Planned the flight during his normal morning nap time but he’s now started boycotting naps so not feeling confident he’ll sleep. I’d really prefer to not break out the iPad/ shows if possible.

I am looking for a non-toxic, preferably organic, kids mattress. I know kids need firmer mattresses, but I am unsure if I should get one specifically for kids or if they could use any. Does anyone have any suggestions of ones you love? I know Avocado, Green Mattress and Naturpedic are choices people like but they are SO expensive. Do any more budget friendly options exist?!

Every store I go into these days it seems like you can't find a dress under $300, besides Target!! Which don't get me wrong, I love me some Target but trying to branch out a bit. Are there any other brands that I am missing out on that won't break the bank for one dress, but are still good quality and will last??

Has anyone found a digital calendar for the family that works? I keep seeing ads for the skylight but wasn’t sure if anyone has it and can provide feedback on it or any others they’ve tried.

I have the worst time falling asleep at night and have tried melatonin and even supplements like magnesium but nothing seems to help. I either can't fall asleep or I wake up every few hours. If you have any tips or tricks please let me know!!

Does anyone else get anxiety with summer and all the camp schedules? I feel like the mental load of the different camps each week, different drop offs and pick up times is so overwhelming. On top of that I work full time so managing my work schedule with all of that just makes me want to skip over summer. It makes me feel sad because I truly used to love summer as a kid and don't want to dread it!

What's your starting age for letting kids text? Our 9yo has an older ipad so she could facetime Grandparents and text cousins that live in another state. A few months ago she got a hold of her friends numbers and now they have a texting group of gals. It's innocent and harmless, but I can see it creating a jealousy in my daughter. They create videos (GRWM) and showing their skin care routines, etc. I can see she is struggling that some have nicer things or things she does not have or she didn't get invited to someone's house, etc. We're struggling as we know technology is a part of their future, but we weren't ready for her to be texting with friends yet. Curious to know other thougths! Thanks in advance!

Ok I am 36 years old and curious about mammograms. I hear so many horror stories about young women with breast cancer and it blows my mind insurance won’t cover it until 40. Any advice on if you’ve gotten one covered and are under 40 with no symptoms? Or just advice on this subject in general?

I have a 15 month old baby who loves water. I would love to get her into swim lessons but don’t want it to be a waste of time doing the classes since she already has no problem with water in her face or even me dunking her in water.
