Here at MomBrain HQ, we are waiting for the cookie truck to pull up, with nice men in white jackets who will gently escort MomBrain to the cookie factory. This is because MomBrain has completely lost her mind. How else to explain the most recent addition to our family? With the Guys Little and Big, plus two kiittens, only a complete loss of sanity could explain the overwhelming need to add a puppy to the mix. Well, color me crazy, and while you’re at it, say hello to Marco, a 14-week-old Havanese puppy who thinks the cats are the chickens he was bred to herd.

The Big Guy, a confirmed cat person, is keeping his distance. The kitties are even further afield. But the Little Guy and I … well, we haven’t just lost our minds. We’ve lost our hearts.

Dear Horizon Airlines Food Associates (HAFASS):

If you are going to boast about offering fresh Starbucks coffee on board your flights, may I suggest that you do not serve it with Coffee-mate Original Powder (COP)? Especially if the flight originates in Seattle, the home of Starbucks, the Coffee Snob Capital of the World. I mean, if you’re going to ruin gourmet coffee with white powdered chemicals, why not save some money and just give us Sanka?
