O Doleful Skies

Pity poor MomBrain. It is nearly the end of April, the magnolias and tulips are in riotous full bloom, and my trip to Cancun is less than two months away. And yet, with perverse cruelty, it is snowing. You heard me people. SNOWING.
The Guys, Little and Big, have taken the pragmatic view and gone skiing. But it’s spring, dammit, so I am sticking to the program and getting a pedicure. Must be ready for sandals!!! Never mind that I am wearing polar fleece and hitting McStarbucks for a hot chocolate on the way. Sandals are just around the corner, even if I have to strap them on over my snowboots.
Hahaha. Gotta love snow in April eh? My kidlets had a great time watching it, but if it came to actually having to touch the cold wet stuff, they’d sooner eat green vegetables.
Thanks for sharing the Cheerios contest by the way…maybe I’ll send my poor attempt at kiddie humour in to them.
